New Signal Strength Indicator
Beginning today, we will use a new graphic on phones and in advertising that more accurately represents the strength of our network, in contrast to that of competing carriers. The graphic consists of five ascending bars instead of the four bars commonly used in advertising of one of our competitors.
“Our new signal strength indicator more accurately illustrates the performance of our network compared to lesser four bar competitors,” said Dick Lynch, chief technology officer. “My goal is to raise it to a six bar display in 2007.”
