phone plans & anytime minutes

I am thinking of switching from Sprint (mostly because I am tired of my 4 year old phone and am the only person I know who uses Sprint, so no free wireless to wireless). The main thing keeping me with Sprint however is the availability of earlier Anytime minutes, starting at 7 pm.

Any idea if now that Sprint has 7 pm standard on all plans for no extra charge will VZW or any other carriers try to compete with that?

Thanks

verizon will probably not, there is no reason for verizon to match sprint. Spring is a threat but not enough of threat where verizon would need to make a knee jerk reaction to sprints move.
