Will verizon ever release a decent phone?

I'm so sick of verizon and their crippled phones and featureless UI 👿 Are there any new phones on the horizon similar to the 6256i but much better? I'm about ready to jump ship to Sprint just for a decent phone. I’ve been a customer for 10 years but can't wait for a decent phone forever 👿 👿 Why can every carrier but verizon make a decent phone? 👿 👿

Please define what you consider a decent phone. You've said that the 6256 was somwhat your defintion but did not explain what it is that almost makes that your cup of tea. We understand your dislike of the UI etc but those will not be changing soon, if at all. Wit that in mind, we understqand what what you don't like.

What makes a good phone for you?

A fashion phone that works as well as a verizon phone. A phone that has a lot of customization abilities but still works well. Examples would be Spring Blade or 920 T-Mobile Samsung T-809 etc. Bluetooth that works TF card that isn't crippled. IS this ever going to happen?

I totally agree, as far as comparing with other carriers' phone, verizon wireless has the worst portfolio of phones. I'm a verizon customer, using samsung I600 for 2 years, and have been waiting to get a new phone but can't find a new decent phone out there. ☹️

I like to have fun with my phone and verizon has just dropped the ball badly in this department. Most my friends have Sprint and carry the Samsung 920 now that's a cool phone with all kinds of customization options and working bluetooth and TF card. I just want to be excited about my phone again and this UI is awful.

the reason for cripling the bluetooth was to stop people from using bluetooth to dial up to evdo market, that is why the nokia has full bluetooth, becasue it doesn't have evdo, neither will the new nokia 2 megapixel slider coming out, so it should have full bluetooth as well. Since verizon has now changed their stance on allowing evdo phones to be used as modems for your laptop( although they charge out the ass for this $60 bucks) they will probably start lightening up on the bluetooth restrictions since they have created aa way to bill you if you use it for a modem🙂
