Help - how do I get a new phone

I purchased the A530 last month and it sucks. The call quality and service isn't that great - and I have to admit I would really really like the new Samsung camera phone. What can I do to get a new phone?

I'm willing to pay a reasonable price for it, but I refuse to pay $350 (alleged "retail" price).

Anyone have any advice on how I get Verizon to give me a new phone? Thanks.

There's nothing alleged about it. It's an expensive phone. Try Ebay.

Bah, Verizon OWES you a new phone for free and they know it. Accept nothing less. If you demand the 'retention' department then they'll do backflips just to keep you as a customer.

Go to Phones and click on the picture of the phone. You'll see 1-year and 2-year pricing on the phone. The "reg. price" on the 2-year contract is $169.99 and it is $219.99 for a 1-year contract. Without a contract, it is probably higher still.

It's 269.99 with no contract, down recently from 299.99.

Verizon does have a 15-day worry-free guarantee. I don't know if that is calendar or business days, but if you bought your phone at the end of June, call and see if you're still within the guarantee period.
