Questions about contracts... maybe a VZW rep can answer.

Hi Everyone,

Maybe someone has asked a questions like this before.

2 part question:

1. My GF and I have separate plans and are thinking of combining the 2 plans, could I bring her account w/ her current phone number to a family share plan? Makes sense to save money instead of 2 separate plans..

2. Second question takes off from the first one.

I'm part of the V710 settlement group. So I'm debating on the new RAZR. However, I know that would cause my contract to go out another 24 months. I'm wondering can if I were to take part and upgrade my phone, can I still do the above question.

Again, Thanks for any insight...

combining your accounts does not change any promotional eligibility. YOu will technically still be on to separate contracts, just on the same account.

that is true..if you want them to be under one name only then one person would have to change the responsibility over to the other..then both lines could be under one name and one contract..but according to customer care if you do these two things your eligibility dates will not change since you are not canceling or upgrading officially...hope this all helps

The upgrade dates will stay the same. However, there will not be a 2 year contract extension. If you go to the shared plan it would only go out one year. If you leave the plans alone and just change billing responsibility then the original contract dates would still apply.

Which ever person's account that you go to will be the only one that can make changes, price plan, upgrades, ESN changes, etc., to the account. The other can be an authorized user but can only ask questions about the account.

Hope that helps..
