I have been reading these threads for months, and I want to say this.

I have a 1 year contract with Verizon(I would never sign a 2 or 3 year contract with any carrier).

I own and use a Moto e815. It is the best phone I have ever used(I retired my Vx-6000)

I think Verizon is the best network out there. And in case you are wondering I do NOT work for any cell carriers. I always get a signal, the voice clarity is excellent, they never screw up my bills and they have excellent customer service. And I have yet to have a call dropped.

Now for all the people who seem to start flame wars, listen up.

I also use a Cingular Nokia 6102 phone as a prepaid customer. I get a great signal, the customer service has always bee...

Network Intergration is to be complete in the NE of Florida by the end of June. Expect your call quality to improve.

You said your Verizon phone isn't the top of the line... It is a high end phone. the e815 was rated #1 by consumer reports, has 1.3 megapixel camera, transflash, bluetooth, vcast capabilities...

Hurricane season...did you know the VZW had their system back up and running before the others after Katrina? And it wasn't even close.

battery and generator back up at sites! my understanding is they can run their network for days with no electric, not sure if most others spend the extra money for these back up plans.

I know that at our agent advantage they talked about the huge gains in numbers in the areas torn by the disaster. The reason they could attribute it to is the fact that Verizon was up and running soon after and people were walking around unable to talk on their phones, but they see those with Verizon Wireless using their phones...

we also had the mobile towers, a fleet of vehicles that can go into an area with major outages, each equipped with a tower.
