also how is the E815 and the V325?

e815 is feature rich and good clarity. no experience with the v325. my personal favorite is the 8100, only problem is not as good reception as i had with my 815.

The razr is a good phone RF wise but I grew tired of it quickly, the think the e815 and 325 are much better phones. If you don't need Bluetooth I would go with the 325 it feels great in the hands, durable, cool blue lights, has a nice solid pull up antenna, and the call clarity it great. 🙂

I have owed the V325 real nice phone only drawbacks were no V cast , no bluetooth and no Music on demand with is coming soon to the V also no memory card. I own the V now and this is an amazing phone, way better than the Razr and if you want all the features than the V is the way to go.

I sell the 325 a lot, almost as much as the 815. I constantly run out of stock on these two phones at both my stores.

I love the 235, it looks good, it and the 9800 are the only two on VZW right now that can access VZ Navigator. Very cool. I'm big on the look of the phone. No one wants an ugly phone. I truly believe the 325 is gorgeous.

I really like the 815 because it has all of the features most people look for. Bluetooth, Vcast, Transflash, 1.3 camera, big buttons, big display, #1 by consumer reports (I swear I feel like a broken record)... plus at some stores the 815 comes with a BT headset (it does at all my stores at least)

It at this point is a matter of what features do you need / desire? The razr is lacking right now on wh...

815 has best rf by far. The razr and 9800(V) are about the same in my opinion, i have used all three of these models and i live in a fringe area. They are all nice phones and pull good signal, if signal is the 1# most important thing to you and you don't really care about the other features then go with the 815. If you are into mobile web, vcast videos, text messaging than the 9800 is great choice. I have the razr right now, got rid of my 8100, wish i would have kept it, i hate the razr, slow menus crappy battery poor outside display. So I would say 815 or the v.

razr gets a good signal but got old fast, i prefer my 8100, if you can wait the 8300 is coming out this quarter as is the new razr, if you can't wait get the 8100 or the v, they are the best in my opinion

Who is Tom and why are you upgrading him? 😁

Seriously though, all else bein' equal, an external antennae should give you better reception. But that ain't to say you can't get good reception with an internal antennae phone, if its done right... most peeps agree that the RAZR gets pretty good reception, internal antennae an' all.

Still, if you're lookin' for a 'reception champion' type phone, you probably want the E815. Also give the Nokia 6256 a look, its done great by me.

RF

Radio Frequency

The 10 kHz to 300 GHz frequency range that can be used for wireless communication.

"RF" can refer to the radio waves themselves, or systems that handle radio signals directly, such as the circuits connected directly to the antenna. 🙂
