I just went retro and activated my 4400. If you could go back and reintroduce a phone from the verizon archive which one and why?
I love the tip calculator, strong vibe, and durable feel of my blue 4400. I also really like the 4500 and 6000.

Good one. My brother had to reactivate his LG VX4400 after the charging port quit working on his Motorola V265. He doesn't like either phone and has yet to find one that he likes. As for me, if I don't care too much for my next phone, then I'll likely reactivate my current phone, the Samsung a650. It's a simple basic tri-mode flip phone. I thought about the LG VX4400 before it was discontinued, but my brother complained about reception on his, as his phone went into analog a lot, even after replacin...

I too liked the 4400 (I had the original gray one). The buttons were nice and soft. I think my all time favorite was the 4600. I loved the look of the shiny blue back and it was so tiny! Other favorites were the 4500, Samsung SCH-a890 and I'm still trying to think back to my very first phone, which was when Verizon was still GTE in my area. It was a NOKIA flip analog phone and I can't remember the model #?????? I wish I could remember the model, I'd like to try to find it on ebay or on the web somewhere (not to activate, of course, just to look at again).

I can tell you right now that I would pay a verizon tech under the table to connect my startac or timeport> they were the greatest. Of the newer phones I would have to vote for the lg 6000, I would not be scared to take that out in public. Great thread guys. P.S. Gunny, great line to Anxiovert. That had us rolling. 🤣 🤣 🤣

Hey Gunny,

I still sell new 4500's here!

4400 and the Old startac were great phones here as well.

4400 would be the best basic phone if it only had speaker phone. Its only drawback. Its too bad that LG doesn't make one similar to it.

What I really love is the cradle charger how can you beat that. Slide the phone in hear a click light goes on. I was sad when they stopped including desk top chargers with the phone.
