Lost my LGVX7000 last night do i receive the same model phone?

Have a quick question I had lost my LGVX7000 last night while partying and was wondering since I had to fill out a police report would I receive the same model? I found out I have to pay a $50 fee for a phone that is now discontinued and one I might add I received for free. Now I have been with verizon wireless for 8yrs now and have never lost a phone.

Do I receive a new model because the phone is discontinued?

Thanks your feedback is greatly appreciated.

Well, I would expect the same model to be sent out. Unless there are absolutely no more left at the Insurance warehouse, you will probly get the same one.

If they have the phone in stock, yes you will get the same model. Yes, you have to pay the 50.00 for the phone you got for free, you signed a contract, that's how insurance works! Why is it even relevant that you have been a ...

Well thanks for coming off rude but u know what just got off the phone with a verizon rep and not only are they going to give me an upgrade but i received a 19% discount on my family plan deal so it comes out to $50 because I have been a loyal customer with them and never have paid late. So being a great customer did have some advantage so now what were u saying about why i mentioned being an 8yr.customer has to do with me getting a phone?!

I have no idea how he came up with that figure but im wondering that maybe because I worked for MetLife back then for 12yrs and VErizon has an account with them he looked up my information from when I had placed my order to sign up for Verizon services I had my work information im still at the same place but we are no longer part of MetLife but I told him that and he said let me see if I can still give you some sort of discount.

He also did ask me when I first enrolled with Verizon did I put a deposit and I told him I did because my credit was not good at that time so I had to pay $250 so he sent me an email not too long ago with an order# where he personally put through the order and also said that they are sending me back the deposit wi...

and you signed a new contract? and i didn't say anything about being a customer for 8 yrs. to get a phone. i said about placing a claim. i addressed the issue of the insurance claim, you didn't say you were wanting to upgrade to get a new phone... sounded like you were having a hissy fit about having to pay the 50.00 deductible for the replacement... glad Verizon got you for two more years! Hope you don't loose another phone...

First off I didnt have a hissy fit on the contrary I spoke to them very nicely and professional and told them I dont see why I should pay $50 deductible for a phone that is discontinued and I had received for free that was it, if they had disputed it then I would just have connected one of my old phones in the meantime.

Secondly, I did not have to sign off on a new two year contract my contract ends 9/24/06 and I would gladly sign up for another year or two with Verizon they have the best service period they may not have the coolest phones but are u paying for your phone to be cool or for you to place phone calls?

Many of my friends use my phone when we are in my friends apartment because they get no signal on their phones (nextel,tm...

"Hello Moto" ... You're very rude. I really hope you don't work in customer service. From the way you're addressing dimelotito, You're probably a pour sales rep that works in a store. If so, you're the reason why customer service gets calls from customers complaining how bad their store experience went. If you don't have any positive to say, maybe you shouldn't say anything at all.

I understand you're stating the facts, but your tone is awful. 😎

my tone is very 'frank'... i actully like helping people, but sometimes, trying to get people to understand common sense is not something i'm going to beat around the bush on. i deal with it face to face all day, i can be myself and say what i feel on a post board... and yes i work in a store now, help desk for our south east region before that and customer care before that... i have work with our office of the president, market support, you name it, i have probably done it if it was in a call center. had to move after the hurricane and the only call center in the area is Convergys and while this one here does our warranty, it...

I dont think he's a VZW rep. I think he works for Cingular.

Why he's answering Qs on the VZW forum, who knows. As someone else said, his 'tude sucks. 🙄
