I just got my july bill and I was furious? All these 800 #s I called(calling card) gotcharged against my peak time; what is up w/ that?

I called customer service 10 times to get credits because 800#s are to be free, but no credits.

This is my problem and it didnt become their problem the first time I called.

I'm definately switching to Cricket, their awesome

even if you use a calling card it is still coming off of your min against your plan. if that was not the case you could get service and buy a 4569083645 min calling card and use it and paying almost nothing for a calling plan. any min using your phone is using min on your plan. duh. no credit will or should be given

Also I can 100% tell you that you have in no way shape or form ever seen an 800 number say airtime free...800 #'s are "tollfree", which mean no long distance

Jesus H Christ, people, HE WAS KIDDING!

You mean to tell me that you WORK IN VERIZON SALES AND YOU'VE NEVER HAD A CUSTOMER SAY SOMETHING STUPID LIKE THAT BEFORE?!?

I hear it almost every day. Either that, or I get the guy who asks if he can get another free phone since he dropped the first one in the terlet & didn't have insurance.

no I hear it all the time too...I know he was joking...but there are a lot of people out there that might think that so I was merely trying to educate...so for Jesus H Christ and myself, I apologize...it will never happen again

That is why all calling plans come with a LD package of some sort. Lower price local plans have Regional LD and all America's Choice plans have National Long Distance. Using a calling card is still using airtime. It doesn't matter what number you called or called you. It is the time in which the call was made.
