Anyone know if verizon will ever allow customers to use their ne2 credit at an indirect store anytime soon?

Only if they are a "Premier" store. Its rare. Verizon makes the store jump through a lot of hoops before they can get such a prestigious title. at my store we're working on it and are almost there.
As soon as we get the distinction we can do express exchanges too!

Ha - yeah right.

Some indirects will be able to partake in the newer program (which is why I personally think they changed the policy).

Note that indirects will probly only be able to issue the credit on some phones.

Im kinda split on it personally... sux for those customers who had experience with NE2 already, but it helps small dealers such as myself out alot...

Damn the 2 edged sword.

basically you have all of these goals (quotas) you have to hit and maintain.
outrageously high data numbers
Crazy number of Easy-Pays
A ton of Activations (not a big prob)
lots of Upgrades

High grades on secret shoppers

I would be willing to guess that you probably have to have a certain # of stores to qualify. (we have 17)

You don't however have to sell any Impulse (the end of impulse is in sight!! Yeah!!!)

Hopefully this will never happen. Do not get me wrong I am all for indirect stores, but there needs to be some incentive to drive customers into corporate stores. The NE2 is a big one that I always am able to use to my advantage. Indirects have the ability to negociate on the price of the equipment so as it is, where as corporate stores have to stay to the pricing that is listed.

Our company has been able to do NE2 for quite some time now. We stretch over a good portion of the eastern seaboard and surrounding states, and curve a little towards Texas.

Normally VZW offers the 9800 for 199.99 and then the customer gets a 50.00 rebate, so you would give the 100.00 off (NE2) and would net the customer out to 99.99 and then minus the 50.00 rebate?

Or how about an LG VX8100. Would you offer this one for free after rebate?

Actually I have a question for the indirects that do offer New Every Two.

How do you offer it?(I.e. it was my understanding that in-directs use Eroes given there is not a discount code in that system to deduct 100.00 or less how do you the indiect owner get paid on it)

Is it really just subsidised by you to get the renewal?
