NEW PHONES COMING
OK, so wheres the 2006 phone roll outs? I mean the top selling phones are still the A950, the VX8100, VX9800, V3C, and the E815.......
Hmmm, these were available in 05.
My girlfriend needs a new phone and doesnt really want any of these!
The only two out right now she is interested in are the 9800 and the CDM8945. Id definately get her the 8945 if it had bluetooth. Why make a VCAST phone that doesnt even have bluetooth?
What she wants is MP3 and Bluetooth... I offer her the a950 all the time and she hates it....

if you are a verizon customer you just have to live with the fact that verizon will always drag its ass in the phone dept. the 8300 and 5300 are basically the same phones that are on the shelves already. one has bluetooth the other is thinner and another color. Big whoop.

you will be able to listen to your mp3's and such through the bluetooth headset. In the past you could only make/receive calls with the bluetooth headset.

well i can tell you what has changed. The 8300 has a better display and flash ui, so you can get rid of the red bar and do a lot of customizing, i have played with one, liked it a lot. The display on the inside and outside are more crisp and brighter than the 8100. I also like the gun metal look, much more professional looking. Now with that said here are my complaints, changed the charging port on all the new ones coming out again! switched to micro sd to save room, camera is still 1.3 and when i took a picture i swear it still lagged. bluetooth is version 1.1 still? i have no clue why they didn't up it to 1.2. the good news is the voice recognition software is supposed to be far better and it will support stereo bluetooth headsets. oh, and once again the rumor is 512mb internal memory, that is what they also said about the 8100 and we all found that to be a load of crap after release so we will have to waite and see on that one.

yup very anoying, especially for us with data cables! so if you wnat to jump from the 8100 to the 8300 you need a new memory car, a new data cable, and a new car charger! they do it on purpose to make you buy new sh%$t and no one try to tell me anything different because i know verizon orders manufactures to change charging ports every few years. the new nokias even broke down and are going to start having the serial port type charging port. Greedy bastards

why the bluetooth 1.1 protocal. i thought in order to feed stereo through the bluetooth protocal it had to atleast be 1.2 because 1.1 has a large delay time.

don't know that confused me as well, i have read that it will support bluetooth stereo, but the lg rep had a slip for the 8300 and the phone itself and it said version 1.1 and he confirmed it. I just hope it works better than the bluetooth on the 8100. Actually i don't care becasue as much as i loved my 8100 i want soomething better, the 8300 just doesn't have enough, the display is cool, being able to customize the ui is cool, but i want a 2mp+ camera, and you still can't use the speakerphone witht he phone closed 😈
