Question for the VZW Salesmen (and women)

What is the cost of the VX4500 (or VX3200) without a new contract? do you get the $50 rebate without a contract?

this seems to be the only phone worth buying but its not good enough to have VZ lock me up for another 2 years.

i need to replace my 3 yr old timeport 270c. a good speakerphone is a must and would love bluethooth (but even though its a feature on every phone that has been released on every other major carrier in the last year verizon doesn't see the need.)

been searching on ebay for another 270c which is what i will probably end up doing. will not let verizone tie me up until they make a commitment to the power user by offering more feature rich phones.

On VZW.com it says the 2 year price for the 4500 is $109.99, and the 1 year price is $159.99. That equals a $50 difference, so it is safe to assume that the no contract price would be $209.99

Same w/ the 3200. Best bet would be to call cust service. I do know this, that the $50 mail in rebate doesn't come w/ either. Do you not want to do a one year contract either?

Bluetooth???????????????????I hate it. I guess it's a personal prefernce. To me it's useless--yeah it would be a fun toy, but that's all it is.

Have you shopped around for other carriers, the ones that have the fancy phones?

My current price matrix has the LG 4500 No Contract Price at $289.99.

My company does have the $50 rebates for the 4500, but we do not sell the 3200 so I cannot speak to that one.

Blue tooth is cool, I like not having a cord on my headset.

Sorry, I did not read the orig. question. The Rebate form fine print reads as follows:

"...Phone must be activated on Verizon Wireless service to receive rebate."

I dont know if that means you could activate on P.A.Y.G. and still get the rebate or not.

Many carriers don't give rebates on the no contract price, so you want to be careful of that as well.

I did receive a $50 "trade-in" allowance when I purchased my LG-4500. But I'm not sure if all Verizon stores would do or allow that.

Probably so...I received it towards the end of April at a store in Emeryville, CA. I paid full price -minus the $50.
