Just had a question about something that happened to me over the weekend. I was in an area in eastern Ohio that Verizon does not cover. Alltel provides service in that area because i know many people that live there and use alltel. Usually when I am in that are my phone says Extended Network and works perfectly fine. I was visiting some friends at their house and noticed my phone was searching for service the whole time i was there (i tried turning it off and back on etc. Well they both have alltel and had full DIGITAL signals and they told me that alltel had recently (within the past few months) put a tower in about 1 mile up the road. I was just wondering why my phone had no signal and they had a full digital signal?

I checked the map (dated 12/05) and Dover is covered with all digital.

Atwood Lake is not listed but there is a lot of area the would be known as Extended Network..

I am thinking that before you leave your home area again. You should do a *228 Option #2 and see if it works there after that...Other than that I am not sure what to tell you...

Good Luck...
