which upcoming phones will you guys get???
i know the new summer phones have not come out yet but i was wondering which you guys would get if they all came out at the same time. i was leaning towards the samsung a930 and have been since december which is how long i have been waiting. but recently i have been looking more and more at the Nokia 6265i it looks sick and my experience with nokia from way back in the day (talking late 1990's ) was awesome their phones were always great, reception was always great, and most important of all the battery life was great. i don't know how the Nokia 6265i is gonna be but im expecting good things. with my piece said what does everyone else think opinions, and critics are welcomed.

that sammy 990 looks pretty hot, but knowing verizon it wont be out until 2007. I think I am gonna get the 930, unless they dont keep it all black...my second choice will prolly be the LG 8300...I wish LG would work on an update to the "V" I like that phone, but its just too bulky!

im looking forward to the lg 8300 and the sam. a930. Probably leaning more towards the 8300 bc I want to check out how the flash UI thing goes. We'll have to wait and see. Pretty much whichever is released first i'm going to get..

the nokia 6265 which is it?? is it the one with the verizon UI?? (which i like by the way) its a slider?? i was kinda looking at that one or the sam 990 but like chris said more like 2007 and my lg 7000 is crapping out (water damage suxs) lol. but more imediatley the 8300 or the slider nokia.

I'm looking at the Samsung a930 as my first choice, and in this order for the rest, all Samsung: a915, a870, & a645. The reason I have the a645 in there is because from what I hear, it's tri-mode and for the few areas I travel in Indiana with Verizon Wireless, there are still some analog towers in those areas. I know analog won't be around much longer, but for the time we have left with it, I'd rather have it for calls than no service with an all-digital phone in an area with little to no digital coverage.

yeah the nokia 6265 is the slider which i like because it is something different from all the flip phones. plus nokia always keeps one thing in mind, the main purpose of their phone is to actually be a phone, not an mp3 player, not a camera, but a phone that gets good reception, clarity and battery life. sure it also has the other bells and whistles, but foremost it is a phone. to me lg 8300 and the samsung 930 are trying to be mp3 players first phones second. but i also like the samsung a990, but i feel like it is gonna be really expense like the a970 currently is.

that nokia has a 3 megapixel camera, mp3 player, expandable memory, fm radio, but no evdo! rumor floating is it is not coming!!!!

where did you here that it is not coming out? and as for no evdo, great i would rather it not have evdo kills that battery and i would never use it.

higher up at verizon and my nokia rep, this phone has been floating around in some peoples hands for months now! The new nokias have changed charging ports, evdo, verizon ui. This phone has old nokia port, interface, and no evdo. Told by two different sources that it might not ever make it becasue of the lack of evdo, changed charging port, no standard ui! Trust me i don't want to beleive it, i want it!!!!!! but it looks grimm, they could have released this three months ago if they wanted, so what's the hold up? last time i saw the nokia rep he had the new slider, the 6025 i beleive, bigger 1.3 mp and rounded off, had serialized charging port and verizon ui, told me this is what we are going to see in the next month or two, asked about the 2...

im on the same page with you, the phone has too much upside for verizon just to ignore it and not release it. plus they released the v325 in jan. and that didn't have evdo, and i think some of the pantec phones don't have it either that have recently been released but then again i don't pay attention to the pantec phones. so hopefully they come out with the nokia. since i have been waiting since december for a new phone at this point i will probably buy the first phone that comes out my old sam a670 is on the verge of death. took one too many falls on concrete about to fracture at the hinges

if you are into videos on your phone this phone is the best, i watched a music video on one and it was like watching a little flatscreen tv, color and picture were perfect and no hicups or waves in the video at all. I was very impressed, Some of the things i don't like! well no touch screen(but the screen is beautiful) and you cannot edit word or excel documents from the q itself(which doesn't make much sense for having a windows operating system). and no wifi.
