so some people have stated that these two phones are basically the same with the exception of one the v3i being gsm and the v3m being cdma. are they the same phone physically too? from the pictures ive seen the v3m looks more like a v3c than a v3i, with the lack of the seemingly larger exterior display and blue light. am i right?

the v3m is better becuase its on the nations most reliable wireless network, and its EVDO capable which allows you to enjoy streaming video on your phone and dl music over the air to the phone.

other then that they are pretty much the same.

Yet Cingular seems to have similar coverage and now allows for Cingular Video through the MEDIANet. So looks like they are becoming the same either way.

(At least in my point of view. Sry..id prefer JAVA, and not having to re-buy the Toby Mac Album I own and can send to the V3i through iTunes. At least thats my experiance of VCast Music.)

your experience with vcast music is obviously limited by your inability to read. you dont have to re-buy your toby mac album you use a usb cable (included in the music essentials kit) and sync it with your phone then transfer your music to the phones memory card. this is free to do and doesnt even require the vcast subscription.

also cingulars voice quality is horrable and they pretty much just suck, but by all means get what you want.

V3i is a GSM world phone.
V3i also has iTunes.
V3i is just a platform for the V3x, which is expected to be out by Xmas (hopefully) 😉

the v3m has a 1.3 megapixel camera, so the camera part bulges out a little. on the v3i, the camera is 1.2 mgpxl, and its flush with the phone.
also, the "M" on the flip on the v3i lights up blue, and is raised closer to the external screen.
