I was with At&T wireless?Cingular for about seven years and I had noticed a huge decline in service over the past six months. I have never seen so many dropped calls in my life as well as terrible conections. To be fair to Cingular, I have was using the old TDMA service instead of their current GSM service. I can't not comment on their GSM service, but because my service was terrible, I decided to give Verizon a try. I have two weeks to try their service and my wife and I are trying it as we speak. She is is using a sleek Motorola V325 and I am using a bulkier Nokia 6556i phone. THe phones and the service seem to be Ok. She wanted a pink Razor, but I am not crazy about those phones. Yes, they look really nice, but I honestly question the dur...

If you have the $5.00 Mobile Web feature on a line (it has to be on both if you both want to browse the web), then it will NOT effect your minutes - week or weekend.

v325 is in my opinion the best Verizon phone currently available. Shame it doesnt have bluetooth, but its one awesome phone in my opinion. The Nokia 6256i (I think thats what you ment) is ok... but Im not sure if you can do real ring tones with that one...

My co-worker just got one and he cannot find a real ring tone - even through Get it Now. Kool thing is, you can send pix to a bluetooth PC/Mac without dealing with msg charges. Gotta find a way to "stick it to the man" when we can.

Oh, the mobile web wil NOT use their anytime minutes? We need to call verizon tech support because they made a mistake on their website:

Mobile Web 2.0

With Mobile Web 2.0 you're just 3 clicks of the keypad away from everything you want to know about your world, but don't have time to ask.

From world news to local weather. The closing bell at the market to opening day at the stadium.

Access your MSN® Hotmail®, Yahoo!®, and America Online® accounts to exchange e-mail easily. Nothing brings you there quicker on your wireless phone than Mobile Web 2.0. The service is offered for an additional monthly access charge, plus airtime and other applicable charges.

First off, Welcome to Verizon Wireless =)

Secondly, The $5 mobile web feature DOES use your peak minutes if used during peak times. Nights and Weekends are unlimitied, therefore when it uses your minutes, they're free. So Be careful with that feature. The $15 Vcast feature include the mobile web and it includes unlimited air time for data services. Another words: If you're on the $15 package it does not use your peak airtime. If you are on the $5 plan it will use your peak airtime.

The RAZRs are durable phones. One flaw that i've noticed if you like leather cases, they do not make a leather case that covers the hinge. So the case exposes the top of the phone (hinge) so if its dropped, it can be easily damaged. They are still good ...

the phones. SO far so good with Verizon. No general problems yet. The only problem i encountered was when my wife was a Target, the the conection was terrible. I reminded her that she has a little antenna which can be pulled out for this type of situation. Indeed you are correct, I meant the Nokia 6256i. and I alse meant that I DO not like long term contracts and that is why I signed a one year contract. Yes, the Motorola V325 seems to be a much better built phone. For sure more durable looking. The nOkia seems to be a little more plasticky and I am not sure if the hinge is very strong. BUT THE PHONE WORKS REALLY WELL. The only issue I have with the V325 is that the ringer of the speaker is not very loud. As far as the Bluetooth feauture I n...
