I've seen all the Treo 700p spoofs. But will we ever actually see a PalmOS phone with EVDO come to market? Curious.

Yeah, I know all about the 700w. I'm a Palm user. I like the OS much better. Prefer the 'one click' architecture vs. Windows multiple clicks. I've been holding out, hoping that the Treo 650 won't be the last PalmOS. I thought the 700p was a spoof.

if you play with the 700 it still uses the 5 way directional key in the middle so you can navigate easily without ever using the stylus. I am with you i like the palm os but after playing with the 700 i kinda liked it. You can use the stylus and do the whole windows thing or just use the navigation key to jump around so it is still pretty quick and easy to get around like a normal palm.

The VZW rep showed me how to nav using the rocker button. But it's still not the same as hitting one button and you have your calendar, hit it again and you have weekly view, again you get monthly, or on button for addresses, hit it again you get business, contacts, personal contacts, etc. You get the idea. Windows is just not that user friendly. Plus PalmOS can password protect indivual records and hide them from view. I'm not sure if PocketPC or WinMobile can do that.
