Has anyone ever heard of this?
A cusomer came into my store just now and he was unable to call his home phone number from both his and his wife's vzw phones. I tried it from my personal phone and it said "Thanks wfor calling vzw blah blah blah...this number is no longer in service." But when I called from the store phone i got through. 😕

there may be a network problem in your area that is preventing phones from calling landlines. we had that problem where i am with cingular. people could call cell phones, and home phones could call cell phones, but everytime someone tried to call a landline, they got a no longer in service message.
