This may sound stupid. But here it goes, is it possible to activate the Samsung A900 on verizon since it operates on the CDMA 850/1900 frequency (the same as the RAZR)?

Perhaps i would not be able to acsess the sprint features but would the phone operate?

thanks for any help

Yes you can. Now the real question is: Will Vzw let you?

Most sprint pcs phones will not work on the VZW network. One way to find out is to get the ESN number then go to the website: www.verizonwireless.com, then go to My Account. Log in and try to do the ESN change. It's free. If it won't let you, then you know it won't work =) Or if you have the ESN, you can always call customer service: *611 or 800-922-0204.
