Is Verizon always this slow
OK Friday May 5th 2006 I purchased a razr phone and plan from verizon. Got the message about them doing credit check ect.. Well as of now I have gotten nothing from them. Sent 2 emails no response. So I called and the lady said well it takes two days to process, and then 2-3 to ship. OK well why does it take so long? If I had know this I would have just gone to my local Verizon and gotten my phone within minutes. There was an online deal so that is why I chose that route. Anyway I do not understand why they can not respond to emails and why they are so S.......L.......O.....W! To process orders, has any body had this problem?

That's the breaks when you choose the cheapest route. Online orders always take about a week to arrive but you don't have to deal with a mail in rebate. Also you know exactly what you ordered from the website. A lot of times people end up with accessories and features they weren't plannning on when they go to the stores.
As for the email.. Did you send it in via the website? VZW.COM>Support>Contact Us or some other route? Via the website response time is usually 24-48 hours.

Well... who knows then but that is how long it takes to get your order from the website. Look for it to show up late this week or early next week.

On the other hand, VZW screwed up our third phone order. I called to verify the order and it wasn't there. They sent us the phone next day air.
Billing, now that's a different animal. They can't seem to get it right. I have to call and complain about added charges that are supposed to be waived for USPS employees. Yes, they fix it, but it shouldn't happen in the first place.

Yeah, It just gets tiresome helping those people that "save" their money and buy their products off the internet. I had a guy from the local commissioners office talking about how I had to match an online deal or he wouldn't buy from me. THE FREAKING COMMISSIONERS office! Every cent I do in business pays his salary...but he wants me to match an entitey that won't put any money back into the local economy, won't be there for servicing his account, won't be there to show him the different phones...just plain won't be there for the customer!
Buy off the internet and go away...put us who take the time to know the product and make sure that we recommend what is BEST FOR THE CUSTOMER...unlike the net which says "GET A FREE RAZR ON AN UPGRADE...

OK first off I Ordered my phone from the Verizon site...It was not free..so find out the facts before you give your 2 cents and go off on a rant.....Sorry yur life sucks, but you dont have to be rude! Have a wonderful night 😉

yeah...off the internet. Keeping money away from those people that are there to help you. I am not being rude. I just feel that time is worth something. I would not buy all the lumber to make a porch deck and then ask my local contractor to assemble it for free...
