I have service out of the DC market, but I use Alltel towers in Charlottesville, VA where I live. Interestingly, I work for another regional carrier at their office in Waynesboro, VA where Verizon does have direct service. Someday, I suspect VZW will be present in C-ville, too!

I'm from chicago, Illinois no doubt verizon's service here is king when compared to the rest. U.S. cell gives verizon a run for there money here though.

I'm way down in southern Ohio & in the town I work we STILL don't have a Verizon tower! 😛

Pittsburgh, PA. Served by all national carriers and Cricket, but IMO VZW has best coverage.

I live in Gary Indiana and have used Verizon Wireless for 4 years now. Started out with a Motorola 120c, then a Kyocera 2235 (because I lost the Motorola and Radio Shack in my area doesn't allow phones to be insured), and now have the Samsung a650. My service is in the Chicago market and have had no major problems with the service. I primarily use my phone in Lake County Indiana, but I do travel out to Starke County Indiana to Knox & North Judson, where reception is spotty, but my Samsung has worked ok out there on digital. From time to time, I travel to Milwaukee and it works good there, but go north of Milwaukee County along I-43 and expect reception to be crap, especially in Port Washington & Saukville Wisconsin. Gotta love the forme...
