Considering New Phone

Hi,

I currently have a LG VX 4400 cell phone, and am looking to upgrade. One major feature I would like is a speakerphone.

Would also like to carry over basi features (color screen, phone book, ring tones, etc)

Camera feature not a necessity.

Can anyone direct me towards some models to consider?

Thanks a lot,

Jamie

I have the Audiovox 8900(this is going to get me shot) and I think the speaker phone on that model is excellent. The Samsung phones that we have out right are pretty good as well...haven't actually tried those out though

yeah, I saw the 8900, but I also found a mixed bag of reviews. When I do upgrade, I don't want to get a worse phone that I have now (not like my phone is crap, you get my meaning...)

understandable...but I have the 8900 for about 6 months now...and I have not had one issue with it...all be it, it is completely your choice on what you want...good hunting

Hey Jamie...
Since you stated that a camera phone is not a necessity, maybe look at the LG-4500 or LG-3200. Both have a speakerphone, which work great...sound good! I own a 4500, where my roommate has the 3200. Both have very user friendly menu's, etc., the only difference is the 4500 has an outer-display, driving mode (which can come in handy at times) and a voice command that you don't have to train. For some this feature is wonderful, for other's it hasn't worked well...but I have not had an issue with it...though it does make you go through an extra step to do a voice-dial. I get great battery life, and I leave mine on 24/7. Audio-quality is great...and even though the shape is kinda wierd, it feels good in your hand to hold. Oh,...

4500. Next step up from a 4400. The processor on it seems to be smoother and quicker. Plus you'd be familiar with where every menu option is.
