Restricting number

Is it possible to restrict your number when texting someone like u would on a regular phone call? thanks

To my knowledge no you cannot. Otherwise how would they reply? You can go on www.vtext.com, not register or sign in, and send an anonymous txt that way.

tru tru. Okay i dont need to just a thought. And you do bring up a good point...iu would they write back. Just wondering im a curious george haha..

actually you can go to your "message settings" and delete your number from the "text call back #".....and yeah vtext.com is good as well

All you need to do is go into your message settings and delete your # as the call back when you send the text msg no number will be displayed to the other user. Or you can use vtxt.com and send an anonymous text msg that way

that will only work for vzw to vzw or vzw to sprint msgs. when i try it on my phone and send a text from my vzw to cingular the number STILL pops up. and the same with my sprint phone to cingular.

now that i just tried it............from vzw to sprint......all its shows now is no call back number but it damn sure shows what number sent the text.

just a side not i changed my call back number to a goofy @$$ sex line 🤣
