thanks for all your information in regards to my question about text messaging plans below

it seems to me that an unlimited messaging option would be a smart idea especially now with the realease of the vx9800

i wonder why verizon doesnt have that option ๐Ÿคจ

thanks again for all your help

They have unlimited IN network messaging and between 500 and 2500 out of network. Unless you text/im all day, that is pretty much like unlimited.

yeah, but pretty much isn't unlimited...and 2500 out of network is easily surpassed if you text a lot. Just because YOU might not text that much, doesnt mean that other people couldnt take advantage of the plan. I believe just about every other carrier offers unlimited...verizon is just too greedy, thats why the raised the text overage last year. They want you to go over your text messages, its more money in their pockets.

They should just turn the 2500 messages into unlimited.

I saw a brochure about two or three months ago for a completely unlimited TXT plan with VZW but it only allowed like 100-200 minutes, and no IN network calling. I don't know if it still available.

I've never talked to a deaf person that wasn't more than willing to pay the $40 + $20 anyway. They've accepted that's what's available, and none of the carriers really push a "deaf plan." Too bad. I don't even have access to a/the deaf plan in my system.
