E-mail sign on

I have not been able to get a function to work on my VZW service and I wanted to ask if anyone else has experienced this or has a fix for it.

When you open mobile web 2.0 or open wave or whatever you want to call it and go to the e-mail option to sign in it has a box that you can check to save your user name and password. I have never been able to get this to work on any of my VZW phones.

Has anyone else gotten this to work so you do not have to enter your name and password each time or is it disabled by VZW for "safety reasons".

it may be a problem with the service within your area. when i access my gmail from my treo, i can access it with no problem without having to log in....and the same goes with my LGV8900.

On both of my phones (6100 & V3C)you can check the save box but it doesn't save the info. It makes it a pain to have to type my user name and pass word every time.

I open mobile web 2.0, or openwave as my V3c now shows and get to the VZW homepage.
Then press number 3 for the VZW e-mail page. Then 2 for aol mail. From there I enter my user name and pass word and then check the box below that which says save.

The problem is it doesn't save.

i would have to have an AOL account to verify why is does not work. i suggest to contact any one in data support to see what they can work for you.

Sorry 😢
