Insurance
I used to have the insurance on my phone, until my old LG broke, and they wanted to replace it with a Samsung or something.. Since then I've never gotten the insurance. I figured you should get the same phone with it, but the decision is up to them. I was thinking of getting a new Treo, and insurance might be worth it for that price. Does anyone know what you would get if you had a Treo 700w that broke?

a refurbed treo 700w. the old LG that you had replaced, was it a style phone that was no longer being made? if they don't have your model in stock they replace with a 'comparable' phone. with something like the treo i can't think there would be any substitutions.

They will replace it with the same phone. If the same model phone is not available, they will replace it with a phone that has similar features. Meaning, if you break a Treo 700W, they will replace it with a 700W....not a LG VX3300. If it is not available, other possible options may be a Samsung I730 or Audiovox 6700. I always carry insurance.....I have kids.
