Such a merger would be a difficult one as there are too many markets where both services operate in, and too many markets would be divested. Also I'm not sure how many markets Sprint & Verizon are in that are PCS only. In most of Indiana, Verizon might have have to divest northern Indiana as Verizon has the B-side cellular licenses for all of Indiana except for about 6-8 counties (I know USCC has the B-side for Benton County in Indiana), plus a lot of overlay in PCS coverage in many of the same areas of Northern Indiana....
