Can verizon roam off of sprint and altels networks?

yes in some areas, and theres no charge for roaming when on the current americas choice plans.

For users on old Local Digital Choice & Americas Choice 1 plans, travel in an area where there are no roaming agreements, you can roam, but you'll be charged for it. Also on Local plans, if you travel outside of your local area, even if the area is a Verizon market, you still get charged for roaming. On Americas Choice 2 plans, you can roam at no extra charge, but only if the area where Verizon doesn't have native coverage, has roaming agreements with the other CDMA carriers. For areas where there are no roaming agreements, the phone doesn't have the SID in the PRL, and your phone will show No Service. Portions of where I travel in ...
