I am giong for a job interview with Verizon Wireless. I am applying for an Assistant Manager position. Just so I can hopefully edge out any other candidates, is there anything I should specifically know about this company to perhaps impress my interviewer? I am really excited for the interview and know that I will get hired as a rep. but am really wanting the assistant manager position.

If anyone knows anything that can help me impress the interviewer, I'd sure appreciate it. I'm not worried about my interview and sales skills, and I have management experience. I would just like to know some background information about the company so I can talk about some things that I know about the company. You know, so the interviewer will know that ...

be a company person no the facts about vzw and speake to your interviewer as if you've already work for him/her.

i.e. say i think we will do great when the moto q drops on blah blah date.

as a just incase measure know how vzw (the company) was started and what they are trying to move to. i.e. companies that form vzw, blah, blah, blah.

just be yourself and know what your talking about.

GOODLUCK 😁

If they like you, often times you will go for a 2nd and 3rd interview. Do a business plan when you go to the next interviews.. (what you can bring)

Make sure you discuss you successes in past mgmt positions. Specifically times when things weren't so great and what you did to improve them and what the result was.

Good luck and be yourself.

That's a great idea! I have never done a business plan before though (I was always promoted from within). Could you elaborate as to what a business plan entails? Again, I have never done one of those. I am sure that would be pretty impressive at an interview.

Thanks a lot to you both for the advice! 😁

A good example is sales.
During your interview, ask how many new lines and renewals are done during the month.

You could do a plan on how you plan to help increase that. How to get people to come into the store. How to get the reps to close the deals...

It doesn't have to take long. Do it in Powerpoint and print it out.
