Is it OK to put my phone in the freezer?

A customer actually called in today and asked me that. She got her phone wet and thought that putting it in the freezer would somehow freeze dry it.

Also had a customer bring back his phone box and house charger (no phone in box), says that his phone was stolen and wants a refund.

🙄 🙄 🙄 🙄 🙄

I did know someone who did that and it worked but I think after it was froze she took a hair dryer to it to make sure all the water was out . If I recall she did it with the battery off.

And I'm willing to bet he got the 3300 free with activation anyway.

I had somebody ask me that, but they worked in a plant and wanted to knof if they could put their phone in their insulated lunchbag in the cooler... I said it probably would be ok, if it was off (fridges block signal pretty well) and they kept it in a plastic baggie will it warmed back up to prevent condensation... But I told them they're better off leaving it in the car or at home...

My line to customers is, If you'd be uncomfortable left there (like on the das of a ca rin the hot sun) then your phone is going to suffer if you leave it there...
