Thinking of Joining VZW from TMO
Just looking for some feedback before I make the move. Many of my friends/family use VZW and they include the free M2M where TMO charges 7. x month. Also, depending on the city TMO doesn't have the greatest coverage.
I am currently living in the DFW metroplex. Any signal issues?
Any other info is wanted as well.

Come on over to the best. By and large, VZW will give you better service overall than any other provide, IMHO. I've been with them since their days in the east as Bell Atlantic Mobile, and I have absolutely no plans to leave.

i would go to verizon... they are very good when it comes to signal and call quality.. my opinion for you is to do the trial and you should see for yourself.

tmobile and verizon both fail in comparison to SPRINT. I'm just blown away with the CALL CLARITY of SPRINT, its absolutely AMAZING. I'm not sure what Sprint is doing with their network, or if it's the phones but the calls are LOUD AND CLEAR as all can be. IM just BLOWN away, so i say TRY SPRINT you won't regret it. not meant to upset any verizon users, just calling it like I see it.

Thats BS. I live in Houston and travel to the Metroplex to visit family and Cingy or VZ will work best in the Lone Star State. As far as Sprint is concerned, the last time I was in Dallas, my buddy with Sprint was borrowing my phone to place calls at the State Fair. Now that is not clear YO! 😉

I agree. Sprint and T-Mobile are both almost non-existent where I am. Don't get me wrong, they have stores here, but as soon as you walk in they won't give you pricing, they just want to run your address to see if they can give you coverage. I gave them 5 addresses when I was secret shopping them and none of the 5 were covered by either service, and I am in a fairly large city. They are pretty much a joke in the Midwest. No offense to any reps for these companies.

My calls are crystal clear, no back ground noise at all. I just stated my opinion you can type in CAPS all you want I'm just sharing my opinion voice clarity Sprint wins.

yea- i agree.. if they have a good point, why would they do caps lock? its not like it would change anything...

verizon was put together with a mess of cellular and PCS bands, and that is why they don't sound as good as SPRINTS ALL DIGITAL network. Just enjoy your sprint phone, I will deal with these noobs

I have no interest in Sprint. I have used Sprint in the past and was very unhappy with their reception and military like stores, wait in line, wait in line, wait in line attitude.

Regardless of service, some phones work best with some carriers while others don't. The network, plus the quality of the phone will determine how good the service is. Sprint primarily focusses on major cities while Verizon focusses on major cities, plus some small to medium size markets. As for the one who posted that Verizon isn't as good because of using both Cellular & PCS bands, while Sprint has an "All-Digital Network"; both services are digital. Verizon has a much larger coverage area because of using both cellular & PCS digital. Because Sprint only wants to operate in the PCS band, it takes many more towers to cover the same area than it does for using the cellualr band. Do any of the other companies have a 15 day WFG with the start of new service? Try verizon...you get two weeks to try it out, and if you don't like it take it back and go with cingular.

no other company has the worry free guarantee but they all have some sort of risk free trial for anywhere from 14-30 days. its not really exclusive.
Rtx: try it for the 15 days no one can really say how it will work for you, it should work great in texas coverage is almost everywehre in texas voice quality and network reliability are very good. try it out and see what you think if it doesnt suit you then cancel within the 15 days.
