RF

Radio Frequency

The 10 kHz to 300 GHz frequency range that can be used for wireless communication.

"RF" can refer to the radio waves themselves, or systems that handle radio signals directly, such as the circuits connected directly to the antenna.

Try the phone for yourself tho, if you used LG phones exclusively in the past you might not even notice. The stub antenna on the LG phones is junk, and compares nothing to Moto, but moto makes ugly phones, its a trade off. Give it try good luck

I don't buy that rf crap, my wifes 815 shows 1-3 bars at my house as well as my razr, but they both drop calls and will not let me connect evdo. My 8100 only showed 0-1 bars, connected to vcast no prob and never dropped a call. i was very disapointed when i sold my 8100 and picked up the razr, my 8100 worked a lot better even when showing a weaker signal. I think moto fluffs the signal meter on their phones. My wifes 815 will not receive incoming calls half the time at my house, but her old 8000 never had the problem. I personally think lg's work better, they may not show the best signal but they seem to get the best service at my house anyway. I will soon be ditching this razr on ebay and picking up the 8300.

who said anything about bars, i dont look at bars to make my determination if a phone meets my expectations or not. look at all the blah blah you just typed, it means NOTHING to anyone because everyone has different experiences, live in different areas, and some have less expectations etc etc etc. I took the 8300 and went to the few trouble spots in my neck of the woods and it didn't perform well, where my e815, razr, and 325 do, and what should these mean to anyone interested the 8300, NOTHING!!!!!!! try it for yourself, if it works it works.

Make the decision for yourself!!!!!!! who cares how others feel

that's funny you say pay attention and it doesn't matter how anyone feels. If thats true then everything you just typed is just as pointless as the other guys. I love a good message board squabble.

Don't stick me in the fan boy category, if you got past the blah blah blah I currently have two motorolas on my account, not Lg's. I was just putting another perspective out there for the guy. To each their own 😉
