10 Year Contracts = VZW's Answer to the Cingular Threat?

The Good:

More discounts on the equipment!

Free bonus minutes for the term of the contract that make the plans even a better deal than Cingular's!

A better deal than even New Every 2!

The Unchanged:

Still no rollover...
Still no 7pm nights...

The Bad:

More complicated upgrade rules for customer service.
More oportunities for error in Point of Sale data entry.

Cingular Wireless has announced an alliance with the American Medical Association. Effective immediately, all children born in North America will have a Cingular-branded world phone grafted to their heads. The rate plan attached to these phones will offer unlimited North American coverage, and international roaming starting at 2 cents per minute for 5 dollars a month. Contract is not required, however to change carriers surgery is required, and no HMO covers removal is it is considered 'cosmetic'

LMAO...I couldn't resist!

p.s. - This announcement is made in the interest of sarcasm, and has no basis in fact.

Remember, the Bin Ladens are filthy rich oil billionaires that probably use the latest, greatest satellite phones.

How sad. Children would be stuck with Cingular? I'd rather have a rock grafted to my hands..
