GSM no longer works where I live
In the last two days, I've activated 6 phones from people switching from Cingular and T-Mobile because they're no longer able to roam off of Verizon and Alltel towers in the area. So not only does Cingular have coverage in my state, now you can't even make a call with one of their phones. I'm excited for my next paycheck...

Really funny that it doesn't work being so close to Denver spum.
There is signal up here in Sheridan. They roam off of Alltel. Alltel is piggy backing GSM on their CDMA towers...

Yeah, but Alltel just ceased their agreement with Cingular this month. At least in my area...
I'm about 2 hours from Denver. Cell phone signals don't travel that far.

There are towers in Fort Collins, but that's about an hour away with mountains blocking it too.

What stores do you guys work for near Denver? I am in Grand Junction. There is no service up there with Verizon?

What? I'm on Verizon. I sell Verizon. I'm just pointing out that Verizon has a one-up on GSM carriers. Bragging rights. I would troll it in the Cingular forum, but it's not my style.

overtaking cingular will be hard without buying out someone as well as vzw does every quarter (best in the industry) cingular has been doing better lately and altho they have yet to out add vzw they have closed the gap.
