I want to port over to verizon but im in a family plan will this cause a problem?

Im in a family plan but I just want to port my number over and start a new contract with verizon can this be done since im 21?

As long as the account holder of your current family plan is present, it shouldn't be a problem.

i work for a indirect dealer for verizon.if you were to port your number over from the family plan,it would cancel that phone on that family plan and the primary would then have to pay a cancellation fee of $175.00.so yes,you could do it,for a price

so you are in a family plan with verizon currently??... If so then you can just do a finacial responsibility change to your name, keep you same number and phone but both phones will have to change plans.

If you are with another service provider and in contract the ETF will be charge to the current account. and you can take your number but will have to get a new phone, and both lines of service will have to change plans.

Thanks, im aware of the ETF i just want to switch from cingular to verizon.
