Lost phone HELP!
I currently have (2) audiovox 8900, signed with VZW about (6) months ago. My wife is at Disney for a week and just called me to inform me that she just lost her phone. I contacted VZW and they suspended the line for now until she find the phone or else.
I was waiting for the V710 to come out to replace both phones.
My question is: what is my best option in this situation?
Will the issurance replace the 8900 with another(is it still available?) or the V710 (wishful thinking)?

Asurion will send out the exact same phone to you... the only case that they would send out something different is if the phone is outdated, and in that case they would send out something with the closest features, style of phone i.e. flip phone, and and price...sorry about your luck but they will send another 8900...good phone though!!

more than likely the insurance will cover with another 8900 if its available. im not sure on what stock they carry or models. there is no way it would be replaced by the v710 tho sorry.

Most likely the insurance will replace it with another 8900, but there may be an option to replace it with a v710, the catch of course will be that you have to pay the difference and most likely they'll play with your contract too.
