I just heard a Verizon ad on the radio, and it was talking about the IN network, how they try and hype up there mobile to mobile on the In network. and how its nationwide, but they had to mention the stipulations with it like roaming. its almost like they were saying all this good stuff, but then directly followed it with there circumstances. I dont know, it just seemed filed with Oxymorons. I mean, the IN network in my area is horrible. it is just a dot around my city. and there are alot of people who live outside this area, and arent informed about this. I get alot of customers who think that Verizon screwed them on there mobile to mobile, and there roaming charges. I mean, Cingular is just doing much better in that area. I have to be hone...

I am really getting tired of people saying "well in my area this, in my area that" if every company had the same coverage there would be no competition...it all boils right back down to get tting the best service for your needs, there are always going to be places where VZW is better than Cingular and vice versa...by the way with the little disclaimer, at least we're advising people what to expect...whether they listen or not is another topic all together

Yeah, well i do get people what they need, and that is no roaming charges and real mobile to mobile. See, Cingular doesnt have to stated those stipulations, because there arent any. The simple fact is that you wont be charged for roaming, and you wont be charged for talking to another Cingular customer no matter where you are. And customers (In My Area) seem to be doing great with what i can offer them.

if you have no roaming whatsoever where do you get revenue...you have lower calling plans, supposedly lower priced phones, and no roaming charges....there is no way you could maintain your position without roaming charges...plus you do not have 100% coverage across the US....or is it more like a Nextel thing where if you're off the network you're not able to place or recieve calls...is that how you can say that? And I'm talking completely off the network...by the way these nation plans...with NO roaming across 100% of the country and USE of your phone across that area...how much do they cost and whats included?

No, there are still things that are wrong, it just seems that Cingular is taking more steps to get rid of the most obvious things like roaming, and true Mobile to Mobile.

Well, they were sure hungry for a GSM carrier here in the US, even though Sarin played it off after we handed Vodaphone their ass in the ATTWS deal. Do you remember the trades back in February, who were saying Vodaphone would have to liquidate VZW to buy ATTWS? I guess since they were bidding so hard, dropping VZW wouldn't have bothered them any.

Are you kidding me, first off have you ever met the guy, how can you sit there and honestly say he was playing it off? Speculation my friend...and if he was adv that he would have to liquidate us in order to get AT&T, and then back off #1 that tells me that they like our revenue a lot better than the debt AT&T is in and also and they bid so hard that they dropped out
