ripping dvds
So... Anybody ripped a dvd and put it on their phone? I got an 8100. there has gotta be a way.

Yeah, I downloaded a couple from Limewire and put them on my transflash, works pretty good.

Im sure it can be done, Im just the wrong person to ask, I have no clue how to get them from the DVD to the computer.

I would think the compression needed to get a 4.7 GB movie down to 512k would be so bad that it wouldn't even be worth it.

get on google and search for "converting movies for the psp" you should be able to use the same programs to get the right format. I could put2 movies on a 512M memory stick for the psp, the screen is so small you don't notice the loss of detail. i wish I could just give you the names of the programs but my hard drive crashed last month and I lost all of th eprograms I had downloaded.
