URGENT: Cell Phone Use in Canada

I'm leaving for western Canada tomorrow morning and i am wondering whether or not i can use my Verizon cell phone in there for no additional charges. What is Verizon's policy?

Also, if there is an additional charge, will IN still be in effect?

You'll get roaming charges. You could change your plan over to the North America's Choice to get coverage in Canada, but if you're only going to be there for...not very long, then I'd just grin and bear it.
