Is verizon going to improve service in....

Verizon bought out some of qwest's towers in the midwest a while back and have since started using those towers.

The area I am referring to is Fremont, Ne, Lincoln, Ne. We used to have great service in those areas when we were using Alltel, now, there is barely a signal, in Fremont on Hwy 30 on west end of town the signal is not usable, and the phones barely work all the way past West point as our phones are trying to hang onto the verizon network. You get on the east end of fremont, and the phones goto extended network and work great, and if we go 4 miles north of fremont on hwy 77, verizon service is bad again. The trick is to place the call before you leave the extended network and the phone will work great.

My question, is Veriz...

You'd probably be better off asking someone in the area. I know a lot about what's going on near me, but I couldn't tell you what Verizon's plans for nationwide towers are.

I am not from that area, just go there a lot. I was hoping to get a rep that could find out. I just sent verizon an email also to see if they can tell me, but, I am sure I will just get the standard form letter saying they will look into it...It is one of the few times I actually look forward to seeing extended network on my phone.
