Has anyone successfully changed/removed/installed their razrs face plates successfully?

I was curious to know if it was possible to do this? I have a broken v3m silver phone and Id love to take the silver plates off and install them on my v3c phone. Anyone know if this is possible? Is it easy?

Thanks

beware, if you change the face plate it voids the warranty

glad someone caught that for you. I have people come in all the time with phone problems, but they bought and installed a faceplate.

General rule of thumb. If you have to remove any screws...you just voided the warranty...

This is true, but if you keep the old face plate and all of the screws in case you had a problem...who would know the difference?

Anybody who knows what to look for can tell, the screws that screw in are silver coated in black paint, once a screw drive comes in contact and breaks the paint, the silver is exposed, therefore exposing that the screws have been tampered with.
