Nokia Questions
Ok I have a Nokia 6236i, and I can't get the Picture Id to work.
Is that normal? it has a camera, so I assumed it had Id.
I was told I need Diego to make it work, what the heck is Diego, is it like Bitpim?
While everyone is telling me I need Diego, no one seems to know where to get it, where the heck do you get it?
if anyone has any insite on this that would be great!!

I knew somebody that had the 6256i and could not use pic ID. We called verizon and Nokia. Verizon didn't know and nokia said no you couldn't do it because there was an issue with the software. Not sure about the 6236 but the 6256 ended up being an indirect agent only phone and the service centers that we took it to would not support it. So if it was a software issue there was no way to get it fixed.

I talked to Nokia, and according to them your shold be able to use the pic Id. But Verizon says no. I have a friend that has this phone on alltel and the id works, so when I got this phone as a gift (from a corprate store) I thought it would work. alas that is not so. I have done research about fixing the prob and everyone say I need Diego, but I can't find it!

i just sold a 6256. the caller id works fine. you need to have the full 10 digit number in there for it to work.

the pic id wont work cuz of the software issues ...im guessing it is from the phone not having the standard UI in it...
