By end of Summer 2006, TiVo® plans to offer TiVo Mobile exclusively through Verizon Wireless. TiVo Mobile allows TiVo subscribers to view television listings, and schedule recordings for your TiVo box while you are on the go and away from home. It’s like having a traveling TiVo remote control that can be used wherever you are within the National Enhanced Services Rate & Coverage Area.
Use the familiar TiVo menus on your Verizon Wireless phone to:
* Browse your TV listings
* Get the TiVo “Daily Picks” and “Most Popular Shows,” rated by real TiVo subscribers
* Search programs by title, actor/director, keyword
* Browse by category
* Remotely schedule recordings

If you have tivo then thats definantly pretty cool, and 2.99 is affordable

Now this is something to be excited about! This would be a way to watch video from home without having to use a slingbox and risk getting your service canceled for violating the TOS

it doesnt say you can watch tv it says you can manage recordings and info.
