It seems to be that the Plantronics 510 is one of the only headsets that was designed with a lot of thought about real world applications.
Everyone gripes about 'echo' and, yes when you have the earpiece/speaker real close to the microphone, you need to have quite a little circuit to invert and thus electronically block what is coming out of the 'speaker' from passing right back into the microphone.
Should that be done in the BT phone software or the headset? It seems like it's not being done in the headsets, but ..
those like the 510 that actually are made for anyone who uses their BT headset outside, solve the problem by physical design considerations.
It's just that most BT headsets aren't ready for prime time..unless yo...
