With the SLVR, the chocolate, Q, new RAZRS, and the sam 990 VERIZON has gone from the ****tiest phones to the best in the US. On top of having the best "coolest" phones we got the freaking best network. I can see us buying SPRINT next year FFS. All of is that sell retail are gunna happy making $$$$$$$$$ cause we got it all now.

buying sprint wont happen sprint is to large and it would be shot down fast by the fcc, also it would cost alot.

I totally agree on VZW going from the crappiest ass phones to the best. Im brutally honest with customers telling them VZ used to sell garbage phones years and years ago, but now they have "seen the light" and now provide some of the best phones out there. This just makes most customers believe VZ is changing for the better and making them anxious for their upgrade date to come quicker to get out of their garbage vx6100s and AUD 8910s.

The only thing that Verizon needs now is
some higher end phones (read quality not quantity of non phone extras) that address the well to do folks that don't care about or are not allowed to have cameras at work. Take most of the folks who work in Washington, DC or the aerospace business. Maybe that's why a lot of them are with the other carriers! A good market to get at.
And one feature these folks like SMALLER CLAMSHELL PHONES! Maybe like the SCH-A530.

i have an 8910 and it is the best phone i've ever had. i always have signal. But yea its pretty flimsy and trashy but its got excellent signal. 😉

If you think an 8910 is the best phone out there, you dont know anything about cell phones. I litterally replace a dozen of those a day because after a year, they die a horrible death. BACK UP your phone book now!

i never said i thought it was the best phone. i think it sucks. i just said it has great signal. Its a flismy piece of crap. I dropped it once and the outside screen cracked. But you said after a year it dies? Not good. i had mine exactly 1 year 😳 😲

Yea usually a little bit after a year, the phone fries for most people with issues with it. Itll be noticeable when its off, you hit power, then green light comes on on the front and it does nothing. Sorry to say but I think its the worst phone verizon has ever sold next to the lg 6100 and 3300 (decent for old people, but junk).

i dont have any real issues with it other than the floppy hinge 😛
but i hardly ever power it off anyway. i usually keep it on all night. ive noticed it takes more from the battery powering it on/off than leaving it on for 8 hours on standby.
