Prepaid customer care reps?
Are they pretty much the same as regular reps just work in a different part of the call center? Are they outscourced? It seems for the most part they hardly ever seem to know what is goin on, I have run into several occasions when attempting to do an ESN change for a customer or a simple priceplan change that they actually have come back on and said, "uh, im not usre how to do this, im going to have to get my supervisor". What is the story on these reps?

Not sure, but I do know that not many know what they are doing. I absolutely dread calling prepaid care. However I have talked to a couple good ones. It is usually an absolute nightmare though and that is after being on hold for 20 minutes just trying to get ahold of somebody.

I agree prepay customer sevices sucks bigtime. It usually takes at least 7-10 minutes of holding before you can get a live person. Even the coporate stores can't help the prepay customers other than doing ESN changes.
