It gets better reception....

What?! Are you kidding me? That phone is rated the highest as far as reception goes. I've never experienced low reception with that phone, and neither have any of the customers I've sold it to. I think you had a defective phone.

e815 is great for reception, but i hope its sucessor has a mini usb charge port, a little tougher casing, and a little more stable software. Thats all i care about, mainly the mini usb though. PLEASE

Since it's been new it's never been the phone reception wise my old plain jane nokia it replaced was.
I just found another spot today that I use to be able to talk at that I couldn't get a signal at. I admittedly travel through some fringe areas but the old Nokia did ok traveling through the same places.
...
That's because the Nokia was probably analog-capable, the E-815 isn't...

That makes since, any good digital/analog phones still on the market or do I have to wait till they upgrade the service?
Will digital ever be as strong as analog? 😕
...
will it have vvcast, bluetooth and all that junk? will it still have amps?
...
dude... AMPS is DEAD. Long Live AMPS. It's as dead as the half dollar. Just because a phone has AMPS circutry does NOT mean by any measure that it'll get better digital signal... The last AMPS call I made was in 2002... And I'm in the asscrack of the "midwest" region in central/northeastern PA...
...
If I am not mistaken...it should be the cdma version of the sliver. 🙂
