NEW PLANS.

It has been a long time since they rolled out new plans. It is getting to the point that they are getting boring. I know that verizon is still getting the add ons they want, but, they could probably do better if they changed plans here and there. Heck, even US Cellular has rolled out new plans.

At least give us some new features to choose from. Heck, I have been thinking about switching to Us cellular just for a change

I'm wondering about being bored with a plan. Are plans supposed to be exciting? I thought they were meant to meet the needs of the majority of people. It appears that Verizon has done that better than most (see Q2 results). Yes, other carriers have changed plans (such as USC) but that is as a reaction. Someday, the market may drive VZ to a new plan mix but they shoudn't change when it's working.

...and changing to another carrier becuase of plan boredom? That is kind of odd....

well, changing to another carrier would not be out of boredom. Where I live, USCC stepped up and supported this town and put in a new tower smack dab in the middle of town, meaning USCC has excellent service in town, and now they have plans identical to verizon with early nights, and free incoming calls. So switching to USCC would be for better service in town. a lot of people are leaving verizon in this town due to being able to use their phone in their house. USCC only has one thing stopping me from switching, and that is the 50% rule. IF verizon ever brings that rule out, then I would leave in a heartbeat, as I travel 5 states a lot.

And what I mean by it is getting boring, I am not saying that plans are fun and exciting, I am say...

I don't mind their plans as much as I wished they had an option for nights beginning at 7pm... Other than that, their plans are good and compare to most of the major companies, especially in the NY area.

agree. A lot of people on here always say, I would not use the 7 nights, so why offer it. Well, a lot of people don't use the text messaging, pic messaging, data plans, but, they still have it as options.

That would be a nice feature in my books. And yes, for the most part, the plans are good, I should of said more features/add ons..

I like the fact Verizon offers 1 yr. plans. I never sign for a 2 yr. myself. I haven't seen 1 yr. pricing with the other carriers. Can you get a 1 yr. service plan with Sprint and Cingular?

I agree. and like VZW and Cingular..the length of Contract mainly affects the price of the phone.
