CAD 5000

I am going carrier to carrier asking this question,
I know all of the crap about the need to be an adlut for you to be able to sign a contract, but what is your youngest parent assisted contract. I had a 8 year old kid and his mom come in and purchase the samsung a640 for sprint. and you know the sad part, the kid had a better phone than his mom.

Yep, I activated a phone for a 4 year old. But for the situation it made since. The 4 year old's parents were divorced. So the child spend every other weekend with the other parents. The one parent wanted the child to be able to call the other in the event of an emergency. I often sell the Migo to families like that.

Exact same situation but it was for a 2 YEAR OLD!!!!!

Here is the kicker, the mom didnt want the migo for her son becasue she thought he would think it was ugly, she bought him the Moto 260.

That is rediculus. I have a 2yr old and a lot of the time her speech is difficult to understand. I do most times because I'm used to her, but she wouldn't know what to do with the phone. When my wife holds the home phone up to her ear so I can talk to her I get nothing because she really doesn't understand why my voice is coming out of the phone. Way too young. 5 is the earliest I would think is acceptable. For me personally, probably not till the can drive. To each his own tho.

I know this isn't Verizon but still,

7 Year old, with a 270 dollar Mobile ESPN blade, unlimited text messaging like 10 dollars more, and the pro sports package for 25 dollars more, which was all on top of the 79.99 a month plan.

simply amazing.

That's ridiculous! Now, I did get my 8 year old a MIGO, but that's different, IMO. It's so I can get ahold of him and him me, but he can't text, download anything, etc.
